Former US Army Staff Sargent Clinton Romesha(C) walks with US President Barack Obama(R) and First Lady Michelle Obama (L) to the East Room for his Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House February 11, 2013 in Washington, DC. Sargent Romesha was awarded the Medal of Honor for his gallantry during an insurgent attack on Combat Outpost Keating in Afghanistan in 2009.

This was who our President was honoring while Palin and the Right Wing were attacking him for not attending the memorial service of celebrity sniper, and gun shot victim, Chris Kyle.

However as impressive as Sargent Romesha's achievements were it was another, younger Romesha, who garnered muhc of the attention, including the President's.
